In this video I will show you how you can upgrade your hard drive based Sony camcorder. Its very simple and takes only 10 minutes. In the video, I am upgrading my Sony HDR-SR10 camcorder that has a 40GB hard drive, which is about 5 hours of video on highest quality setting. I am swapping out the drive for a 80GB drive (About 10 hours of recording!) All you need to purchase is a Toshiba ZIF type hard drive (The same drives they use in iPod Classic).
